I am so lucky to consistently have such lovely couples to work with, Lydia and Scott were no exception so I had a great time photographing their day. We started off getting ready at Channels Lodge, then some guests caught the vintage bus and the bridal party got to ride in two stunning VW campervans. Then we arrived at Maidens Barn for their outdoor ceremony. It was a scorching August day, I think we were all surprised by how beautiful considering it was a bank holiday weekend! The sun was very hot so we decided to do most of the couple shots after dinner and make use of the golden hour, which is always the perfect light. As they were now Mr and Mrs Ducas-Jones they couldn’t have chosen any other song for their first dance but had the added surprise from a friend playing his sax for them along with it. Just before I left the guests were treated to a dancing car, and there was a brilliant photo booth to take over. Special thanks to maid of honor Rhian who was super helpful all day 🙂
